Name: Angela "Angel" Wagner
Height: 5 ft 7 in.
Weight: 120 lbs
Eyes: Yellow (no visible pupils or irises)
Fur: White
Unusual features: Angel has only two thick fingers and a thumb on each hand, three toes on each foot (arranged in a bird-like configuration), white fur, pointed ears, fangs, yellow eyes, and a prehensile and forked tail.
Birthday: August 31, 1991
Known Relatives: Anna-Marie Wagner/Rogue (Mother), Kurt Wagner/Nightcrawler (Father), Raven Darkholme/Mystique (Paternal Grandmother/Adopted Maternal Grandmother), Baron Wagner (paternal grandfather, deceased), Margali Szardos (Paternal Adopted Grandmother), Unknown Maternal Grandmother and Grandfather (status unknown), Amanda Sefton (Adopted Aunt), Graydon Greed (Uncle, deceased), Talia Josephine Wagner/Nocturne (Extra-dimensional paternal half-sister)

History: Despite both having had a variety of relationships over the years, at one point, flirtation between Kurt Wagner and Rogue eventually turned into something more.  With the help of a stable relationship in her life and the love of a partner of strong faith and devotion, Rogue was finally able to work with Professor Xaiver and Moira McTaggert to gain control of her abilities and finally be alone in her own mind.  The relationship slowly began to blossom further.

Shortly after this, Rogue and Kurt discovered that they shared common parentage in Mystique, who was both Rogue's adoptive mother and Kurt's biological one, effectively making them adopted siblings, as well as making them related to mutant-hater Graydon Creed.  This revelation lead to a temporary break-up between the two while they reevaluated things, but they became a couple again and eventually married.

Their child was a daughter, named Angela, and almost immediately nicknamed "Angel", which stuck more firmly than her given name ever did.  She had a happy life growing up at the Institute, albeit one also marked by the use of an image inducer any time she needed to leave the Mansion grounds.

Angel graduated from Xaiver's and left for a year to backpack in Europe where, for the most part, anti-mutant hysteria had not reached the levels it had in the United States.  When she returned, she met and struck up a quick friendship with Aiden Blaire, the son of Dazzler and Longshot.  Bonded at first by a love of gymnastics, she was immediately smitten with him and very quick to pursue a relationship, though he insisted on taking things more slowly.  Angel shared a number of adventures with the younger X-Men, including a nasty spell in Mojoworld.

Following Aiden's graduation, she and he, along with a couple of other Xaiver's students, moved to New Jersey where Angel and Sara Summers attended Rutgers University, a school which had publicly declared itself mutant friendly.  Angel is continuing her studies there, working on a degree in Physical Education.  In the meantime, she also teaches gymnastics to children at a local gym.

Powers: Angel possesses the ability to teleport, in a similar manner to her father, by traveling through a brimstone dimension.  Her range is approximately two miles in any direction.   She is capable of bringing an undefined amount of additional mass with her, though she has been able to teleport multiple people with her before, most of whom find the processes disorienting and sickening.  Angel can make multiple jumps in succession, but repeated rapid use of her power rapidly exhausts her and is detrimental to her overall health.

Her tail is prehensile and can be used as something of a third arm.  She possesses the ability to cling to any surface via her hands and feet.  Her night vision is slightly above average.  She possesses significant flexibility.

Abilities: Angel is an accomplished gymnast, owing more to natural talent than mutation, though her body is maximized for agility.  She is skilled with fighting with swords or fighting while teleporting.  Angel speaks German fluently.

The Sisterhood of Evil Mutants is dedicated, much like the original Brotherhood, to the idea of Mutant supremacy. It is believed they have a further backer of some sort, who furnishes them with the technology they employ, but the identity of this person (or persons) remains unknown at this time.

Magneta
Real Name: Sofia Lehnsherr (believed to be an assumed name)

History: Little verifiable is known of the women who calls herself Magneta, though she claims to be the daughter of former mutant terrorist Magneto. SHIELD and other peace-keeping organizations, however, believe this to be a false claim, though whether or not she herself is aware of this and simply using it for effect or is operating under false information is unknown. It is most speculated that she is the daughter of Zaladane, conceived during the period when she had stolen Polaris’s magnetic abilities.

What is known is that she first appeared three years ago, conducting various acts of small-scale mutant terrorism. She was able to evade capture and remains one of the more wanted mutant criminals in the world. It is generally assumed Magneto finds her to be beneath his notice.

In the time since her first appearance, she has continued to consolidate her power-base and has amassed a team of followers, along with picking up pieces of cast-off technology, including a teleportation system.

Powers: Magnetic manipulation, similar to Magneto or Polaris.

Lady Mastermind
Real Name: Elizabeth Harris

History: One of innumerable illegitimate offspring of Jason Wyngarde, the newest woman to call herself Lady Mastermind discovered her powers at a young age, using them as a very successful con artist. She was eventually found out and caught by the authorities, where upon she was freed and recruited by Magneta

Powers: Lady Mastermind possesses the power to create telepathic illusions in a manner similar to her father and other relatives. Hers possess a strong psychosomatic effect, but can be resisted by the strong-willed or even through the realization that what one is seeing is an illusion.

Frogg
Real Name: Sasha Tyler

The youngest of the team, Frogg was an outcast almost from the moment she was born, due to her freakish appearance. Thrown in the sewers as an infant, she was adopted and raised by a local Morlock clan of mutants. Because of her speed and agility, she was often sent above ground to steal, often risking life and limb in the process. Magneta discovered her while she was running from the law and snapped her up as a member of her team, promising her the opportunity to strike back at those who had oppressed him. Of all of Magneta’s recruits, she is the least bloodthirsty and the one most likely to question what they’re doing, but will still not back down from a fight.

Powers: Frogg possesses the general appearance and abilities of a human-sized frog, capable of astounding leaps and leg strength, as well as aquatic adaptations.

Mercury
Real name: Rebecca Sunderland

Rebecca, along with her sister Alexia, were the daughters of Charles Sunderland, a wealthy corporate executive and known member of the Friends of Humanity. When both sisters manifested mutant abilities of the same day, the papers had a field day with the scandal. Disowned and cast out, the two were easy recruits for Magneta.

Powers: Mercury possesses the ability to move, react, and think at super-human speeds. Her body has been wholly adapted to withstand the friction and fatigue associated with such speeds.

Red Witch
Real name: Alexia Sunderland

Alexia, along with her sister Rebecca, were the daughters of Charles Sunderland, a wealthy corporate executive and known member of the Friends of Humanity. When both sisters manifested mutant abilities of the same day, the papers had a field day with the scandal. Disowned and cast out, the two were easy recruits for Magneta.

Powers: The Red Witch possesses the ability to alter small pockets of reality, localized to no more than a six foot radius around her body. These changes require her constant concentration to maintain and will fade if she or the object moves beyond this radius. Thus far, her abilities have not been able to work on human beings.

Heavyweight
Real Name: Daisy Dukes

Daisy is the daughter of one Fred J. Dukes, otherwise known as the mutant terrorist called the Blob. Though Dukes gave up on his criminal actions following a lengthy imprisonment, his daughter is quite happy to carry on in his footsteps. Boisterous, loud, and possessed of appetites both sexual and food-related, Dana is an unusually cheerful terrorist.

Powers: Daisy possesses powers similar to her father, including super-human strength and invulnerability, along with a certain amount of elasticity to the fatty tissues of her body. If she chooses not to move, there are few forces on the planet capable of causing her to.

Angel was more than a little worried about Aiden by this point. With everything that had fallen apart on the poor boy...

And she couldn't fix it.

Her beau, her world, was hurting and she couldn't fix it. Couldn't do a blammed thing to make it any more right.

She was out of her depth here. So did what she thought was best. She called his parents.

You Fall for the Guy or Girl Next Door Type

You think that people make love too complicated, and what you want in a partner happens to be pretty simple.

You're content with someone who's nice, attractive, honest, and normal. So how come that's so hard to find?

You are fairly traditional, and you value security in relationships more than most people. It's important for you to find someone loyal.

When you find the right person, you don't expect much from him or her. You're just happy to be together.

Angel sat on her bed, absently reading what was, in point of fact, an extremely trashy romance novel. On the other hand, at least it was an extremely trashy mutant romance novel. Or at least the author blurb claimed she was a mutant, and the main character in it was a mutant. With her ankle broken, she didn't have much chance of her usual activities, which were gymnastics, though she could still walk the youngest students through some basic gym exercises.

There were also a number of carefully perused college brochures on her nightstand. It had been almost a year now since she'd graduated from the school itself, longer since she'd graduated to X-Men status. She'd taken a great deal of time off to tour with Auntie Amanda's circus and that had been a great deal of fun. And then she'd come home and fallen in love.

But what now? Did she want to be a super-hero? She had the costume, she had the code-name, and she had the field experience already.

It wasn't like she could hold down a regular job. Well, she maybe could, but try to apply for a job as an obvious mutant and see how far that got you. Even using her image inducer wasn't a guarantee.  The thing had been known to fail on occasion, and simply couldn't disguise the fact that she was covered with fine fir or that she didn't actually have the right number of fingers.  It always looked like she was giving people the Vulcan salute.

That was the same problem with college, really.  Too many chances for something to go wrong.  Even on the more liberal campuses, there were few openly mutant students enrolled, and in recent years only a handful of that few had managed to make it to graduation before being driven off.  She was not afraid of a challenge, far from it.  But she was also not sure that was something she wanted to deal with, day in and day out.

And in point of fact, Angel Wagner, in her natural state, did not exist.  Her driver's license and any and all records pertaining to her showed the girl her image inducer indicated her to be.  They were based on what she would look like had she not been born a mutant, but they were a lie.

She was aimless and she knew it.  The Institute offered some college level courses, and she could take those, of course, and maybe she would.

A knocking on her door frame caught her attention and she looked up to see her mother standing there.  "Oh, hey, Mama."

"Hey there, Little Darlin'," Rogue replied, smiling.  "Can Ah come in?"

"Sure thing.  Take a load off."

Rogue entered and sat herself down by Angel's bedside.  Concern for her daughter still lined her face.  "How's your ankle today?  You need anything?"

Angel shook her head.  "Nah.  Ah'm not in any real pain or nothin'.  And Ah can still reach anything in here, even without gettin' up."

"Good, good," Rogue agreed, and then seemed to be at a loss.  "Ah...  Ah'm real proud of you, Little Darlin'.  I hope you know that."

"Course Ah do, Mama."

"It's just...  Ah'm really starting to see what a young lady you've grown into.  All the things you've done in the past months, between that Silver Samurai rat and now that mess with Mojo...  Guess Ah always still just thought of you as mah little girl, when you done growed up on me."

Angel laughed.  "Ah'll always be your little girl, Mama.  But thanks.  That means a lot to me."

"Chargin' through the gates of hell after your beau... That takes guts, girl," Rogue added.  She seemed to consider something, and nodded to herself.  "Speaking of which... you two are bein' safe, right?"

Angel nearly jumped off the bed, then settled into an embarrassed grin and blush.  "You, ah, you knew about that, huh?"

"Little Darlin', with who he is and who your folks are, Ah'd've been more surprised if you weren't.  'sides, Ah'm your mother.  Ah've got special senses to tell me this kind of stuff."

Angel still felt flush beneath her fur.  "An'... you're okay with it?  Ah mean, Ah know maybe we jumped into things pretty quick..."

Rogue tussled her daughter's hair.  "Hey, if you two're in love, Ah'm not gonna say no.  Ah spent way too much time not knowin' what love was to deny it to anybody."  She laughed.  "Course, Ah don't think your daddy's figured it out yet."

Here came another embarrassed grin and blush.  "He's gonna hit the roof when he finds out, ain't he?"

"Ah'll calm him down.  He wasn't exactly the most chaste youngin' himself, you know."

"Maaaaamaaaaa....!"

"Just sayin', is all."

Angel shook her head.  "Ah really don't need to hear that kind of talk.  It's embarrassin'."

"Part of mah job description."
